Hand Sanitizer Gift Idea

Need a quick gift to give to teachers, co-workers, service people, friends or neighbors? Winter is “germ season” it seems, so a handy small size hand sanitizer for the car, purse or desk is always an appreciated idea, but those bottles are NOT cute or easily wrapped – until NOW. You can create this very quickly with supplies you probably have on hand already. I’ve given you the colors I used for this sample, but any combination you like would be fine!

SUPPLIES:
Stamp Sets:
Merry Everything (135071 cm; 135068 wm)
Festival of Trees (135059 photopolymer)

Inks:
Mossy Meadow Classic Stamp Pad (133645)
Cherry Cobbler Classic Stamp Pad (126966)

Paper: (including cutting dimensions):
Whisper White Cardstock (100730): 1-7/8″ x 2-1/4″, scrap
Old Olive Cardstock (100702): 2-1/2” X 1-1/2” scrap
Cherry Cobbler Cardstock (119685) 1-3/4” X 5-1/2”
(This may vary depending on the brand of hand sanitizer you purchase. Simply measure the width of your bottle and substitute as needed for the 1-3/4” measurement. Then, measure the height of your bottle from the neck to a little above the bottom. Score at this point. Add the width across the neck. Score at this point. Add a couple of inches for the back.)

Accessories:
Ornate Tag Topper Punch (137416)
Tree Punch (135859)
Note Tag Punch (135860)
1” Circle Punch (119868)
1/8” Silver Ribbon (132137) ~ 11″
Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430)
Bone Folder (102300)
Small size bottle of hand sanitizer of your choice...2 oz size of Purell was used in photo

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Score the Cherry Cobbler cardstock as described above. Use the Bone Folder to get sharp creases. Use the 1” Circle Punch to punch a hole in the center of the two scored areas. Use the Ornate Tag Topper Punch on each end of this piece (optional). Set this piece over the lid of the sanitizer.

2. Use the Cherry Cobbler Classic Stampin’ Pad to ink the tag shape in the Merry Everything stamp set. Stamp this onto the Whisper White Cardstock piece (HINT: – Be sure ink COMPLETELY covers the stamped portions and hold in place on cardstock while pressing. This allows the ink to be absorbed into the cardstock). Punch out with the Note Tag Punch.

3. Use the Mossy Meadow Classic Stampin’ Pad to stamp the tree of your choice from the Festival of Trees stamp set on the Old Olive Cardstock. Punch out with the Tree Punch.

4. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach the Note shape and the Tree shape to the front of the Cherry Cobbler piece on the hand sanitizer. Position as you desire, but make sure the words show!

5. Using the 1/8” Silver Ribbon tie a bow in the hole created by the Ornate Tag Topper punch.

6. Optional: Add a Stampin’ Dimensional to the front and back of the hand sanitizer and position the cardstock evenly over it. Press to hold in place.
