You Move Me Project Sheet

Have you noticed the You Move Me Stamp Set and Move Me Thinlits Bundle on page170 of the new catalog?

I have to admit, this is one I skimmed by at first. But, now that I've seen it in action, I am super excited about this bundle.

By slowly pulling the stamped image, the hummingbird wings appear to flutter!! A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!

This also works with other images ... butterflies, dragonflies, wagging dog tail, moving elephant trunk ... the options are endless. I have posted a video below this tutorial so you can check it out.

  • Misc. – Move Me Thinlits (143732); Big Shot (143263); 3/4" Circle Punch (119873); Layering Squares Framelits (141708); Tear & Tape Adhesive (138995); Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755); Big Shot Die Brush (144262); Dimensionals (104430); wax paper
Measurements:
  • Peekaboo Peach: 5-1/2" x 8-1/2", scored at 2-1/8" and 6-1/4"
  • Designer Series Paper: 3-5/8" x 5"
  • Whisper White: 3-3/4" x 5" plus scraps for leaves
  • Powder Pink: 3-1/4" x 3-1/4"
Instructions:
  1. Fold base card on scored lines, adhere the DSP to the center front of the card.
  2. Using the largest of the Square Framelits place on base card center top, run through Big Shot. Punch above cut square with circle punch on top edge of the card.
  3. Place Tear & Tape on the inside edge of right panel, it will fold over the left panel to close the back of the card. Place 2" of tape on bottom edge. Close to create pocket.
  4. Cut Powder Pink square to create shutter. Place wax paper between the die and the cardstock and run through the Big Shot using the sandwich on page 215 in the catty. Brush out small pieces of cardstock using the Die Brush to create shutter.
  5. Adhere the Powder Pink shutter to the card using Multipurpose Glue.
  6. Stamp the hummingbird on Whisper White as follows ~ Use the bird stamp with the beak, stamp in Garden Green. Stamp bird without the beak over the first bird using Pear Pizzazz. Carefully line up bottom two lines of second bird between the bottom Garden Green lines and check the orientation of the head before stamping. It is hard to get a 'perfect' bird so put the white card in the shutter pocket to see how it looks ~ how the bird flies ~ he may be just fine.
  7. Stamp the leaves twice, once in Garden Green and once in Old Olive, cut out with leaf die and adhere on corner of card. Use Dimensionals on the top leaf.
